My Favorite Ads! 🏆 -

Each night, we attended the Cannes Lions Awards Show as a class! I personally really enjoyed the award shows because it was so exciting to see the work firsthand that was winning some of the biggest awards in the industry. It was such a cool way to end each day and celebrate the creativity we had been learning about throughout the festival.

1. Heinz Ketchup – "Look Familiar?"

My favorite piece from the first awards show was Heinz Ketchup's "Look Familiar?" press advertisement. It reminded me that sometimes the simplest ideas are the most powerful, and that's exactly what made it so memorable.

2. On – "Shape of Dreams"

My favorite campaign from the second awards show was On's "Shape of Dreams." The storytelling, beautiful visuals, and simple soundtrack completely drew me in—and as a Zendaya fan, that definitely didn't hurt!

3. KitKat – "The KitKat Heist"

My favorite campaign from Wednesday night's awards show was The KitKat Heist. I honestly couldn't believe I had never seen it before—it was clever, entertaining, and one of those ads that made me wish I had thought of the idea myself.

4. The Ordinary – "The Periodic Fable"

The Ordinary's "The Periodic Fable" was easily one of the most unforgettable campaigns I saw all week. It was honestly so creepy—but in the best way possible—and it proved that sometimes the work that makes you a little uncomfortable is the work you remember the most.
