Friday looked a little different from the rest of the week. Instead of running from talk to talk, we spent the morning together as a class reflecting on everything we had experienced. We talked about our favorite sessions, the biggest lessons we learned, and the speakers who left the biggest impact on us. It was really interesting to hear what stood out to everyone because, even though we had attended many of the same talks, we all walked away with different perspectives.
After our class debrief, we headed down to the basement of the Palais to explore even more award-winning work. We got to see many of the campaigns that had won Silver and Bronze Lions but weren't featured during the award shows. I honestly loved walking through and taking my time with each piece. It gave me a chance to appreciate the creativity behind the work and reminded me that there were so many incredible campaigns beyond the ones shown on stage.
That night, we attended the final Cannes Lions Awards Show, which felt like the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable week. Looking around the room, it was hard to believe everything we had experienced over the past five days. From the inspiring speakers and networking opportunities to the incredible creative work, it all came full circle during that final celebration.
To end the week, we headed to the Cannes Lions afterparty...and it was SO much fun! It was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing week with my classmates after everything we had learned and experienced together. After a week full of early mornings, nonstop walking, and countless talks, it felt so rewarding to relax, celebrate, and soak in the last night of Cannes. If you ever have the opportunity to attend the Cannes Lions Festival, my biggest piece of advice is this: don't skip the afterparty!
